The AKC is an advanced level of the canine good citizen program. The goal of the class is to train the dogs skills in a natural setting., All of this class will be working outside in public settings. To build on the already advanced skills your dog has gained in Level 3. There is no pressure to take the test, but we will train for that advance skill set so you can feel comfortable taking your dog out to public locations!

Rally Obedience Course Work and Handling is a fun competitive obedience class using signs and course work. This class focuses on rally courses and handling techniques from Novice to Master depending on the level of each students in the class. Along with demonstrating your obedience skills. It adds an extra challenge for you and your dog. Dogs must have taken all the way through level 2 manners, otherwise must speak with Megan for a spot in this class. 


Some Drop In spots may be available

This is an introductory class that will teach how to imprint odor, and teach the dog to actively hunt for, and indicate the particular odor being trained. Those who intend on participating in nosework are encouraged to bring their specific odor. If not participating in nosework, another specific odor will be used. This is a great way to build teamwork and understanding of your dog. A great activity to mentally stimulate your dog. A great way to channel your dog’s instinct to use their nose, and hunt.

This will be taught with food and positive motivation techniques. Bring a food that highly motivates your dog.

Article Indication

Taught by Tim Connell, Retired Police Chief and K-9 Handler

In this class, the dog will be taught to locate, and indicate items containing human scent. This skill is applicable to later integration for article indication during tracking, or on a free search for an article containing human scent. This method is used in various sports (AKC, IPG, and others) and police evidence recovery. A great way to have fun with your dog, and stimulate them by using their nose and instinct to hunt. 

No prerequisites. (For the first class, bring a small piece of leather, fabric, or other small item to use as your article. (Approximately 4x4 inches). Bring food that highly motivates your dog.)

Introduction to Weight Pulling

Taught by Naomi Smith CPDT-KA 


Any dog can learn and enjoy the sport of weight pull, from 4lbs to 140lbs.

Dogs will be taught to pull while in a specialized harness. We will focus on drag-work while building enthusiasm, focus, and good form.

Weight pull is a low impact sport that has many benefits.

These include: conditioning, strength training,general exercise, building focus and confidence.

*Harnesses will be provided.

*This class is for dogs 12 months old and older.

*Dogs should be in good general health.

*The class fee is $120 for 4 consecutive (unless otherwise noted) 45 minute - 1 hour classes.

*Class is capped at 6 students.

*Dogs that bark, growl, or lunge would not be good candidates for this class. Private training or reactive dog classes would be more helpful for these dogs.

*Class Dates: 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26

Taught by Anne Andrle


Anne Andrle has been involved in agility for 17 years. Her first 2 dogs, Cody and Ski, competed at the highest levels of USDAA and AKC, with multiple national finalist and top ten rankings. Ski was a member of the 2008 IFCS World Team, bringing home a Bronze medal from Belgium.

Since 2013, Anne has incorporated OneMind Dogs training and handling techniques into her agility handling skills. Her students include dogs of all breeds and sizes, and she is known for her ability to motivate and handle every type of dog.


This is a whole day workshop with a break for lunch in the middle of the day, please bring your dogs crate, and any other supplies they need for a full day!


This introductory workshop will focus on the techniques of weaves and foundation agility skills, from contacts and handling.

Nosework and Reactive Dog Class

Reactive Dog Level 1

Does your dog bark, lunge, growl, and other wise act out at the sight of another dog or person? This class is geared toward reactive dogs who struggle to remain focused in the face of triggers. In this class we'll discuss techniques you can apply in real life scenario to help your dog make better choices, and react less. This class is key very small to allow for the most relaxed environment possible and allow for individualized instruction. First lesson will be in webinar format with a short quiz following.
